I am going to discuss the readings from the provided textbook in Chapter 3. I like “Sutherland’s Theory of Differential Association” the most as this part helps me to understand the different perspectives about criminal behavior. I believe that the differential association theory can reflect the contemporary criminal behavior in a proper manner. I observed that when an individual resides in a group then the individual tends to do a similar thing that other group members do.
